ShockTEK Defense Terms of Service / Policies
Liability Release / Terms / Conditions / Policies - The products that ShockTEK Defense sells are only allowed to be carried by persons 18 years of age or older. Purchaser must only use the stun gun in a lawful manner only for self defense purposes. Purchaser must also agree to hold harmless ShockTEK Defense and any of their importers, dealers, distributors and any retailers for any illegal purpose or misuse of this product. By using this product, you also agree to financially release ShockTEK Defense and any of their importers, dealers, distributors, manufacturers or retailers from any litigation that may arise in the event of a dispute due to injury caused by any products sold by ShockTEK Defense. ShockTEK Defense does not ship stun guns or self defense products to prohibited states, cities or counties. It is your full responsibility to check your local and state regulations to determine if possession of this device is legal in the jurisdiction that it is carried in. By using this product, the purchaser assumes all risk and agrees to hold ShockTEK Defense harmless of any legal dispute that may arise regarding injury or any other type of litigation resulting from the use of a ShockTEK Defense self-defense product. If you do not agree to the liability release terms & conditions listed above, please contact ShockTEK Defense to obtain a return RMA# to return your product(s) for a refund. Refunds are only permitted within the return policy period as stated below.
Return Policy - If for any reason you are not satisfied with your ShockTEK Defense product, you may return your product for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. In order to return your product for a refund, you will need to contact us to obtain your return RMA# and our return information. We do not issue refunds for products returned without an RMA#. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, as we are not responsble for return shipping costs. We are not responsible for returns that are lost in transit, so make sure to put tracking on your return package to ensure its arrival to us. Once your returned product is received, we will issue a refund of the full purchase price.
Cancellation Policy - Order cancellations are not permitted. Once we receive an order, your request is immediately sent to our shipping facility. Since our shipping and support facilities are located at separate locations, orders cannot be cancelled. If you wish to cancel your order, you'll need to receive it from us first and then contact us for an RMA# and the return information.
Warranty - All ShockTEK Defense products come with a limited 90-day warranty policy. We reserve the right to not honor warranty requests in the event of product misuse or charging procedures not being followed properly. Make sure you read the included information spec sheet(s) included with your order. The charging and operating procedures will vary from each different model of stun gun purchased. Make sure you read all of the included documenation first before proceeding.
Email - Upon accepting the agreements at the time of purchasing with us, you agree to allow us to use your email address to send you offers, discounts, updates or promotions only from our main company ShockTEK Defense. Your acceptance of this agreement does not permit us to use your email address for anything besides the reasons stated above. If you wish to not receive emails from us in the future, you can always opt-out at any time and you will stop receiving emails from us automatically. To opt out of our email newsletter or to stop receiving any future emails from us, you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link on the bottom of our emails or email us directly to remove your email address from any of our contact lists.
